Does Chlamydia Infection Need Immediate Medical Attention?

I received a call on Friday confirming that I tested positive for Chlamydia. I got tested after seeing some minor white bumps under the vagina and became concerned. The day after receiving the call I had extreme lower back pains and now today woke up with sensitive skin similar to chills with a rash on my back and chest area. I m concerned with it being PID.. I have an apt tomorrow with Planned Parenthood for the Chlamydia treatment but I was wondering if this is an emergency or if I should wait for tomorrow?
