Does Choking While Taking A Pill Lead To Bronchitis?

Hello about 6 days ago I was taking a pill and got choked on it. It felt as if it went down my windpipe. Now the right side of my chest hurts when I breathe. I did cough most of the night when it happened. Could this be giving me bronchitis or something? thanks

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern let me tell you truth about the given history by you according to you the pill split inside the wind pipe and went into the lung, this is not true forget this thought, if such thing happens then person badly came under the false impression that something being stuck and then tries to expel it out with forceful coughing this action of coughing cause the trauma which further create the impression that it is really something went in lung, hope this information helps you have nice day.
