Does Clotrimazole Cream Relieve Itchy Red Circles Around Legs?

I went to the races last weekend and my legs got very badly bitten, they were very itchy and some have gone down now but 2 or 3 are still very itchy and have like a raised red circle around them. I no hydrocortisone cream can be used for bites but I have some clotrimazole cream. Could this also work? Thanks

Hi,

Clotrimazole cream is an anti-fungal medicine which won't be much effective in the treatment of insect bites. It is better you apply hydrocortisone cream on the affected areas and take antihistaminic like tablet Chlorpheniramine Maleate once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
