Does Cold And Cough Increase Heart Rate?

I have a cold, coughing a good bit. Will this cause my heart rate to go up? I am a 64 year old female, my heart rate can run anywhere from 58 to 72, since I have had this cold it is running ion the high 70's and low 80's. I am not taking anything but cough drops.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that of course the cough can increase the heart rate but not at the resting period but at the time of bout of cough for the couple of minutes and this is just nothing to worry, have a nice day.
