Does Constant Vaginal Spotting And Bleeding After Sex Indicate Menopause?

I am a 49 year old woman that was experiencing very heavy periods with a lot of clotting. I decided to go on the depo shot as I had been on it in my 30's and loved it! I received my shot in October '09 and was due for my 2nd shot in January '10. I decided not to continue with the shot as I gained weight and spotted or bled the entire 3 months after that 1st shot. It is now March '10 and I continue to spot/bleed almost everyday. I also experience bleeding after sex, when I hadn't been bleeding before sex. Is this normal as I am 49 and experiencing some menopausal symptoms?
