Does Consumption Of Male Fern Root Cause Heart And Respiratory Failure?

Hi - Occasionally, my lips feel very dry, and I ll get a small but painful crack in the corner of my mouth. I currently use Carmex and chapstick with moisturizer as treatment. I ve tried other oils and moisturizers, but all have very temporary effect. Sometimes, along with the dryness, I have a feeling of mild numbness in both upper and lower lip.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think the numbness in both upper and lower lip is due to excessive dryness not well controlled. It's time, to me, to see a dermatologist and run dermatoscopy of the affected area to determine the cause of this dryness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
