Does Contraceptive And Emergency Pills Cause Infertility?

I have been married for 4 years now. Due to my higher education, I and my husband haven t still considered about conceiving.during these years I have taken regular contraceptive pills and emergency ones sometimes.now I want to conceive, will my pregnancy be affected ? Are there chances of having abnormal child?

Thanks for letting us know your health concern. You need not worry about unfavorable pregnancy outcome since the hormone effect is not persistent after stopping the medication. Once you establish regular ovulation, you can try for natural conception through regular sexual intercourse during the fertile period.
