Does Copper T Cause Delay In Periods?

I am a mother of a 4 year old boy and a 1 yr old girl. i experienced a blood stained vaginal mucus twice this month,i thought i was going to have my periods soon but till today ie.. 19th june i have not had my periods. i had my copper t multiload implanted early this year ie.. january 2011. does copper t causes delaye periods?
