Does Cortisone Shot Help Numbness And Pain In Arms?

I have been suffering with cubital tunnel syndrome for over a year. It is bi-lateral. I had surgery on my left arm in Dec., but the pain and numbness has returned. I was wondering if cortisone shot might be another option. I am 64 yrs old, 5'4, 125 lbs and am very active. I was told weight lifting was the cause.
