Does Coughing Out Mucus From Smoking Weed Mean Infection Or Something Else And What Are The Long Term Effects?

hello
I smoke weed like poppers daily, i use it for stress and anger, it also helps my adhd but I'm concerned about the long term effects. I've heard almost everything about cigarettes and guess its pretty much the same but i was wondering if I'm coughing out mucus does that mean i have an infection? or just a build up of white cells because I'm irritating my lungs? I'm trying to quit, but it is hard. Definitely because it feels great and relaxing and can calm me down almost immediately. so pretty much if I'm coughing up mucus do i have and infection and what are the long term effects? Please and thank u for your time.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your problem it is good idea if you are thinking to quit the smoking, if you do not run the fever then this is not the part of infection, but smoking can make the changes in lung tissue and that could be more dangerous than the infection so it would be much better for you to stop the smoking because you must be having such changes and that might be causing this symptoms, I hope you can understand this, taka care and have nice day.
