Does Cyst In Pelvis Cause Sciatica?

hi i am 35 yrs old and i suffer with sciatica. for the past three months i have had non stop pain in my lt buttocks and leg. i have seen several doctors the last one being a gyn. had a pelvic us done which showed i have a cyst. could this be the reason for my sciatica
