Does Dehydration Cause Fatigue, Popping Ears And Headache?
My husband got dehydrated about 3 days ago. We got fluids into him by way of water and Gatorade. The heat index is up to 100 degrees real feel for the last 3 days. He is staying in the air conditioning mostly. His urine is now almost clear. Getting up gives him a lightheaded feeling from time to time. He is feeling a fullness in his chest from time to time. He has a bit of indigestion as well. All of these symptoms come and go. I know with dehydration there can be a bit of anxiety as well. He is staying a bit tired as well. His head hurts in the forehead area. His ear is popping from time to time. We think this is sinusitis. Should I take him to the doctor?? The only reason I hesitate to take him to the doctor is no insurance. I just changed jobs and medical doesn t begin for another 4 weeks.
If you notice a general improvement in his symptoms, then he may not need to be seen.
The symptoms may persist but once you notice that they seem to be decreasing in their intensity then it should mean that he is on the road to recovery.
If there is minimal or no change or worsening occurs, then he would need to be assessed.
I hope this helps
