Does Delayed Period After Intercourse Indicate Pregnancy?

Hi. my last menstruation is March 5, since i have 31days cycle length(common length of days after my mens) my mens should came 5 day ago. me and my boyfriend have sex on March 11 and 12. :( since it s 5 days late i m nervous that i am now pregnant. early this morning i tried to take a pregnancy test and it s negative. what should be the reason why my mens is late? Hope you can help me thank you.

Kindly repeat the test after 5days to confirm the test result.Blood beta hcg levels can also be tested since it is more accurate and sensitive test for detecting pregnancy.
