Does Delayed Period Suggest Pregnancy?

Me and my husband trying to conceive a baby for 5 months. My period is due on 8 june 2015 but so far, i haven t experience my periods. i haven t experience ant symptoms of pregnancy yet. I made a pregnancy test at home but it shows negative. is there any chance that i am pregnant?
