Does Dementia Cause Burning In Chest And Pain In Shoulders?

My mother in law 85 years old has burning in chest and pain in both shoulders and back of her head plus in left arm. Now she does have dementia but we are close and tells me things she doesn't always tell others. She is in a nursing home and they will keep an eye on her. She has at this point not been diagnosed with anything else besides dementia and I am trying to make a decision to take to ER or wait it out. But what if I wait to long.

HI
Thanks for using healthcare magic

In dementia, some time, patients have anxiety or other behavioral issues. In that case, she needs few antidepressant and benzodiazepine in low dose. That would help her to improve the symptoms and help to get out of such problem. Sometime, patient takes time to improve, but you have to be patience. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
