Does Depo Shot Help To Regulate Hormone Imbalance?

I am 37 and just had the depo shot to help stop to much abnormal bleeding in the wall of my uterus. the doc said something about it helping with pms As I get it pretty bad. Also iv noticed a decrease in food cravings and a bit of weight loss. Does depo help to regulate hormone imballance?

Hello,

Yes, in some cases depo provera may help, but not always PMS has a hormonal origin.

So, if it helps it means that hormonal imbalance was the cause.
