Does Discontinuation Of Ecosprin Worsen Hypercholesterolemia?
I am a teetotaller and have frugal eating habits and on no medication. Last month, I was on a routine annual medical checkup and found my LDL was 176 and Vitamin D & B12 deficiency. While I am taking meds for the vit deficiencies, i was also administered ecosprin 75 AV. After 1 month of dosage, I had on my own replaced this ecospirin 75 AV with ayurvedic shuddha guggula (twice daily). Is it worth it or is there a risk factor over the discontinuation of ecospirin 75 AV Sir, ???? Ecospirin 75 AV was giving me lot of jitters and was not fit like before. Doctor, when prescribing Ecospirin AV 75 said that this is being suggested due to age factor. Thanks & regards Vaidyanathan AnanthaKrishnan, Chandigarh, India.

Ecospirin does not cause hypercholesteremia.
But discontinuing Ecospirin increases the chances of heart attack. Consult a physician and get evaluated.
