Does Does Severe Headache During Urination Indicate?

56 male While urinating today, upon finishing, I had a pounding headache, that was unusually painful. My bladder is becoming troublesome, but know prostate is not the problem. For last few weeks, my entire digestive system has not been normal. However, I have not had big appetite either. No diarrhea, just long periods between deposits, like it s taking longer than normal to digest? Wondering if maybe this could be a signal of diabetes?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It could be polyuria is one of the three very important symptom of diabetes along with polydipsia that is increased thirst and polyphagia which means increased hunger. Delayed wound healing can also occur .

I would advise you to first show an internal medicine specialist and then get the tests done accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query.
