Does Doxycycline Induced Esophagitis Cause Pain In Left Side Of Chest?

Hi i used to take doxycycline but recently stopped because of possible signs of Doxycyline induced esophagitis. Which causes very bad pain in my chest when i eat. but i also have very bad pain in the left side of my chest when i wake up? could that be a possible symptom and i have a history of acid reflux as well
