Does Drainage In Head Cause Vomiting And Dripping Nose?

I have a 2 year old and has been having drainage in his head. He vomited twice yesterday. After he vomits he is happy. He was fine all day today and then tonight vomited again. Can drainage lead to this? No fever. His nose has been dripping and when we suction in out, thick snot comes out.
