Does Drinking Alcohol Along With Rocephin Cause Any Dangerous Side Effects?
Yesterday my doctor gave me an antibiotic injection for bronchial & sinus infection. I think it was Rocephin. I read somewhere not to mix Rocephin and alcohol, for up to 72 hours after the last injection, but nothing I could find said what the result would be if I did. What is the result of any mixing, and is 72 hours sufficient? The reason I ask is that I have a wine-pairing dinner party on in two days (right at 72 hours), and I want to know if it s OK to drink wine that evening, or if I need to lay off another day.

when it is contraindicated then avoid alcohol. you have to avoid all type of alcohol including wine. after all it is for your health.
