Does Drinking Alcohol Cause Bad Body Odor?

An long term al alcohol consumption cause body odor? My husband is an alcoholic and drinks daily. He is what you would call a functioning alcoholic. He refused to refuses to admit it and refuses to go to the doctor but you can smell him when he walks in the room even if he hasn t had anything to drink

I understand your concern.
Drinking alcohol does not seem to be associated with production of bad body odour. Probably it might influence in increased sweating, which over a period of time might result in bad body odour.
Kindly get his blood urea, serum creatinine and serum electrolyte levels checked and consult Dermatologist with the report for proper evaluation and appropriate management.
