Does Drinking Energy Drink Lead To False Negative UPT?

I stopped my birth control and didnt have a period for over a year then i got when my fiance and after two months i got my period back for two months then it stopped but i keep getting negative pregnancy test i drink a lot of energy drinks my mother thinks that can cause the false test is it possible or is something wrong

Hi,

There is no evidence that these drinks can interfere with the results of urine pregnancy test. You had a history of absent periods before, I suspect you have a sort of hormonal imbalance, you need to get an evaluation for possible causes like:
- Polycystic ovarian syndrome
- Thyroid problems
- FSH and LH levels
- High prolactin levels

I don't think it is pregnancy, but you can get a blood pregnancy test done for the peace of your mind. You should also get an evaluation for the possible causes of absent menstruation as I mentioned.
