Does Drug Consumption Risk Pregnancy?

If me and my boyfriend have used Mkat in the past in excessive amounts will it affect our chances of getting pregnant? We haven t used it in months now but do smoke weed almost everyday. Of course this would stop if I do fall pregnant but just want to know if it s still a possibility considering.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Use of drugs is known to possibly affect pregnancy.
It might contribute to low fertility levels by decreasing the sperm count/motility in men and quality of ovum in females.
Also, use of weed, may interfere with implantation after fertilization or has a high chance of miscarriage followimg implantation.
Also, some of the drugs could also known to be associated with birth defects in fetus.
Hence, it would be advisable to stop using drugs in any form and detox body throughly before planning for pregnancy.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
