Does Eating Too Much Sweets Can Cause Sore Throat?

hello! i am a 22y.o female with a 45 kg and 5'2 in height..i just want to ask , does eating too much sweets can cause sore throat?..i don't know if this thing i'm feeling ryt now is sore throat..it just started from inflamed lymph nodes on my neck and now i feel pain on my throat whenever i spit some phlegm the color of it is like rusty color..what should i do or any medicine you can advice to me...?thank you

Hi,
I have gone through your query; it suggests that fresh sweet eating not responsible for sore throat.
It may be due to the other things that responsible for infection in thoat.

For best drug of choice you may go for throat swab and culture and antibiotic sensitivity.
