Does Echo Stress Test Result Which Shows 4.4 Cm Aortic Root Indicate Aneurysm?
I had a echo stress test done.... The doctor said that it was a normal test result.... but he found that I have a bicuspid aortic valve... No leaking.... 4.4cm aortic root.... I ve had palpitations, skipped beats, since I was 19 ... I m 41 now.... Male... 6 205 lbs. Always been athletic.... Should I be concerned? Can I workout ? Does a 4.4cm root the same thing as a aneurysm?

your echo is not bad, but neither normal.... People of bicuspid aortic valve have high predisposition of developing valve disease. And secondly your aortic root is some what dilated, so I would recommend you to have yearly follow up
