Does Elevated Prolactin Levels Cause Difficulty In Conceiving?
Hello I am 29yrs old,trying to conceive 2nd child,during my first pregnancy I was hvng pblm.of high prolactin about18 wch my Dr brought down to 0.056,n now recent blood test show prolactin level 19,and my Dr says it's normal,I have a doubt about my Dr of saying normal,wat do u suggest is it normal to conceive or shld I go on a treatment

1. another term for high prolactin level is hyperprolactinemia and yes high prolactin levels do cause infertility, and you should consult a GYN/OBG doctor with the results since he/she will be in better position to guide you regarding the values because although it is in normal range but on the higher side and since planning to conceive, talk with your doctor.
