Does Endometrium Lining Thickness Of 9.6 Mm Indicate Pregnancy And When Will Periods Start?

hello. its been 3.5 weeks since i had a medical abortion. the ultrasound didnt show anything remaining but my gynecologist said the endometrium lining was a bit thicker than normal, it was 9.6mm. does that mean that i may still be pregnant? how long would it be before i get my period again?

hi,endometrial lining 9.6 mm is not suggestive of pregnancy.it can also be seen when a woman is about to start menstruating.when you are more than 30 days away from your abortion and still havent started your periods you can take tab regestrone 10 mg twice a day for 5 days and you ll start your periods within a week .so its not something to be stressed about.take care and all the best.
