Hello, how many erectile dysfunction problems have a physical cause and how many have a psychological one? are 80% physical and 20% psychological correct figures? In young men (20-30) what is the most common cause?

psychological cause is present in even physical cause.in 20-30 age group,stress,overwork,guilt,substance abuse,trauma are major causes.rarely hypertension and diabetes may occur at this age.

doctors go back and forth with the percentages. In younger men, psychological causes are more likely then physical ones. I have seen plenty of physical problems as a cause in my practice. New onset diabetes, low testosterone, and high blood pressure are some of the causes I've seen. I'd recommend getting a full check up first and if everything is fine, addressing the emotional causes
