Does Esophageal Spasms Cause Breathing Difficulty?

Can esophageal spasms cause difficulty breathing similar to asthma along with difficulty swallowing foods and mist regular swallowing cuz throat feels swolen and throat feels like its closing? Along with chest pains too? It does this sound like a different condition because sometimes I m literally gasping for air but my chest is fine??

Noted your history of esophageal spasm and other problems that you have mentioned.
Difficulty i breathing similar to asthma
Difficulty in swallowing food
Throat feels swollen and closing.
Chest pains with gasping for air.
All the symptoms may be related to each other and needs a good clinical evaluation and treatment as per the clinical findings and lab investigations and Pulmonary function tests, X-ray of the chest.
All these things together under the guidance of a Pulmonologist
