Does Excess Masturbation In Men Cause Infertility?

I am man .married since 2 years .we are trying for pregnency since 4 months.still she didnot get conceived. My seimen is watery.before marriage I used masturbate everyday once.. Does this can effect pregnency.? If this is the case ...what should I do? Please advise me

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
No excess masturbation doe not cause infertility in men. Excess masturbation can cause temporary reduction of sperm count in semen, which gets improved within 2-3 days. Masturbation done previously before marriage cannot cause infertility problem now.
If you are masturbating even now then there may be reduction in semen quality causing infertility. I would ask you to stop that now, it will help in conceiving. Concieving depends upon lot of factors & can take months. You should try to have sex with your wife during ovulation days.

If still problem persists, I would also ask you to get your semen analysis done. Then your wife's ultrasound & other hormonal tests should be done.
Refer to a gynaecologist or your wife or an infertility specialist
