General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your discoloration of urine dark orange following intake of melatonin for 2 weeks I am strongly suggest yes this is caused by the drug

Melatonin is a drug used for sleep disorders and and it is metabolised in the liver and excreted in the the urine as an end product as a colorful substance

Hence this is definitely not a pathology and need no panic

I hope this helps Regards
