Does Excessive Thirst And Urination Indicate Possible Diabetes?

Hi,
My daughter is peeing every 30 min for last 5 days and she is also drinking more water than what she used to be. We have get the urine checked and sugar is nil in that. Get we rest assured that she in not suffering form diabetes.

Hi, i had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

The symptoms of excessive urination and thirst for just 5 days, you need not worry much. And as sugar levels are normal, You need not think of diabetes at all for now. Most probably it could be because of excessive summer which causes dehydration which gives thirst and excess water leads to urination.

So, keep cool and give her more fluids like juices etc., relieves her from dehydration.
