Biotin is a water soluble B-complex vitamin.Biotin is a coenzyme in the metabolism of fatty acids and leucine, and it plays a role in gluconeogenesis.Biotin is necessary for cell growth, the production of fatty acids, and the metabolism of fats and amino acids.biotin deficiency causes:
Hair loss (alopecia)
Conjunctivitis
Dermatitis etc. The use of supplement over a long period can cause thicker and stronger hair and as well as healthier nails.
