Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my fiancee is too embarassed to see a doctor so I am trying to get some info for him. In elementary school he damaged the tissue at the tip of the penis which stopped the growth of it. He is afraid he cannot have kids because he damaged the tissue as a child. Could this be true or does fertility strictly depend on the testes?
Hello and welcome to HCM. A damage at tip of penis can't restrict growth of the penis. If he's able to masturbate normally and have semen coming out, there should normally be no problem in having intercourse. As both of are so anxious ,it would be best to have a doctor examine the genitalia. He/she will be able to give you a proper advice.A normal erection after arousal, ends with semen emission. Sperms are formed in the testis. The male hormone testosterone regulates its' growth as well maturation of sperms. A sperm analysis will give a clear picture of fertility.
