Fever in a patient recovering from cancer is an important symptoms. It might be due to a trivial infection or is an indication of a systemic infection which might become severe if not treated on time.
In your case I suggest that you take paracetamol 500 mg after for every 6 hours and observe if the fever is under control. If the fever is persistent and increasing after 24 hours then you require to consult your doctor and get investigated for an infection that might require you to take a short course of antibiotics. Please have healthy food and keep yourself comfortable from extremes of temperature and drink adequate amount of water and fluids. Maintain a temperature chart for the day. Please do not worry.
