Does Flash Light From A Camera Cause Any Harm To Eyes?

Hello

I did a very stupid thing. I accidentally took a photo of myself from a distance of about 5 cm with the flash on. The flash burned my eye for about 5 minutes but then everything was OK, I mean I didn't see that flash ingrained on my retina anymore and my vision was just like before.

So, I'm wondering if some damage to my eye may still be there that I'm not aware of, or if there are some possible long-term "side effects" that will affect my vision.

I'm 25 years old by the way.

Thank you very much!

Hello
Flash light of a camera will not do any harm, hence no need to worry. It can cause the effect of after images which shows seeing shadows because of exposure to bright source of light.
Hence no need to worry and this will not cause any side effects or affect your vision.

Thank you
