Does Food Poisoning Cause Abdominal Pain?

I had dinner at Cracker Barrel this evening, and I had the chicken and dumplings.. the dumplings were really soft, as they were melting in my mouth, not done.. but I ate them as I didnt want to complain, now the bottom of my stomache hurts.. can you get food poisoning from this?
