Does Foods Like Honey& Egg Affect The Fetus During Pregnancy?
I Am 28 weeks pregnant now.My Age is 24, Height is 150 cm , Weight 62.5 Kgs.
Is it necessary to avoid foods(like Dates,Jaggery,Honey,Egg Yellow) that produce heat in the body now? as they are very important for improving iron levels at this time..How will those foods affect fetus?
These are misconceptions. In fact dates and jaggery supply iron along with sugar. Iron is one of the very important need during pregnancy as there is natural dilution of blood during this condition. Eggs provide high proteins and Calcium - which is required for the growing foetus. Honey is harmless and provides good energy to the body which does not tax the insulin. Along with these items, do eat a lot of fruits and green leafy vegetables. Curtail tea and coffee to minimum. These types of food groups do affect the foetus in positive way. They do help the growth and health of growing foetus. Please do not be carried away by such misconceptions and misbelieves. Please DO consume these items in good proportion for good foetal growth and your own health.
