General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
You have not mentioned your age, sex and any addiction history.
Numbness and stabbing pain may suggest poor blood supply to your leg. If the pain is waking you up during night then it should be considered severe pain which needs to be investigated.
Clinical examination along with Doppler ultrasound of leg can detact any abnormalities of circulation like PAD.
Damage to nerves is reversible if treated timely. So It is advisable to visit the doctor for this.
Hope this will be helpful.
Thanks for your question. Take care.
