Hi,
If you have used the pills as per the schedule without missing the pill or altering the time of intake, the possibility of pregnancy is less. Sometimes while using the pill side effects like
amenorrhea,
hypomenorrhea, inter-menstrual spotting, etc. can be seen. After stopping the pill the time of onset of withdrawal bleeding may vary from cycle to cycle, sometimes it may take around 7 to 10 days also.
Symptoms like increased frequency of micturition, changes psychological state, etc. can be seen in premenstrual period also due to reproductive hormonal fluctuations. So, just by symptoms we cannot come to a conclusion regarding the pregnancy. If you have missed any of the pills or had
unprotected intercourse after stopping the pills, please go for a
blood test for pregnancy to rule out the possibility. If
serum beta HCG levels give less than 5 mIU/mL in blood test it rules out the possibility of pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
