Does General Sickness Interfere With The Effectiveness Of Microgynon?

I am on Microgynon 30 and have been taking the pills as instructed, everyday at the same time. However, I have just remembered that after taking one of the pills I was sick. I didn t think about it at the time and took my pill as usual the next day. Will this have interfered with the effectiveness of it?

Hello,

Being sick or not feeling well will not interfere with the effectiveness of the contraceptive pills. If you vomited half an hour from having the pills it means that you didn't take it so take two pills the next day.
