Does Genital Herpes Cause Pain In The Left Hip?

I am a 62 year old female who had her first out break of herpes nearly 40 years ago. I am having my first outbreak in four years. Two months ago I got the shingles shot. I have been taking for the last 5 days acyclovir for genital heroes; I am experiencing pain in my left hip. Is this related possibly to herpes or shingles!!

Hello,

Shingles can cause pain in the left hip. I recommend continuing taking antiviral medications such as Acyclovir. You can use painkillers such as Ibuprofen for the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
