Does Groin, Hip And Gluteus Pain Need Medical Attention?

I had a snowmobile accident 3 days ago and have been experiencing pain in my groin, hip, and glute on my left side. I am able to bear weight on the leg, but walking and bending over is quite painful. I haven't yet gone to the doctor as I suspect it is a muscle issue that needs rest and ice etc. Because I am able to put weight on the leg, is there a need to go to the doctor or should I continue doing what I'm doing (ice, elevation, ibuprophen, etc.)? Thanks!
