Does Having Alcohol After Taking Cortisone Shot Lessens The Effects Of It?

I had a cortisone shot in my hip (1st shot ever) at noon yesterday, and had one gin & tonic (2oz gin) about 6pm since I was still uncomfortable. There was nothing in the discharge instructions about not drinking alcohol. Have I lessened the effect of the cortisone shot?
