Does Having Fibroids Cause Right Shoulder To Go Numb?

my right shoulder goes numb i have had no accidents it gives a burning sensation and it will then spread to my left shoulder i can scratch it and cannot feel it?? i have fibroids but have not had any medication or treatment for them yet could it be related or what could be causing this??
