Having intercourse continuously may not interfere with
implantation of the already fertilized ovum. Once fertilization takes place, the nature has devised things in such a way that the
uterus will start preparation for receiving the fertilized product.
However, there is no definitive answer as to whether having intercourse or orgasm reduces the implantation success rate.
However, in case you are planning to become pregnant, it is recommended to have intercourse 3 days before and 3 days after expected ovulation day, depending on the number of days of your cycle.
Implantation occurs when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall and typically occurs 6 to 10 days after ovulation. Thus it would be better to wait for 2 weeks before assuming the next sexual activity. This is to avoid sex-induced uterine contractions or introduction of infection, which may have a negative impact on implantation process or embryos.
