Does Having Strep A Infection In The Previous Pregnancy Affect The Future Pregnancy?

When I was pregnant, I had a very quick birth due to complications (baby was distressed)...a few days later i became very ill with what was later diagnosed as a Strep A infection of the Womb.....the doctors told me that it seemed it had been laying dorment as such in my womb, activated as such by the pregnancy hormones. It took me 6 months to stop the constant extremely heavy PV bleeding last time (i would stand up out of bed EVERY morning and it would just pour out of me...this continued on throughout the day). Does that mean if i became pregnant again, the same thing would happen once i d given birth?????

Hi, your baby may distressed due to infection of your woomb. You should take proper antibiotics to stop the infection. During pregnancy our immunity status decreased. It happens to all and doesn't mean that it will end in an infection. I will suggest you healthy diet and to maintain hygiene and give more attention on your health care to avoid such condition.
