Does Heart Problem Cause Elevation Of Liver Enzymes?
7 year old with frequent nosebleeds, sleepwalking, and now abnormal ekg and high liver enzymes. Had PFO (supposedly resolved) and PPH (supposedly resolved) as newborn following 4 month hospitalization after crash c-section, post-dates. Any ideas? Could heart problem be cause of elevated liver enzymes, which could be the cause of nose bleeds? Is this possibly related to hypoxia at birth?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, very little and inadequate history given here, it did not mentioned what type of EKG abnormality detected, value of liver enzyme and type is not given here, but this may not be due to cardiac disease but this could be due to some blood disorders and that need to be ruled out and for this certain blood test need to be done, hope this information helps, take care.
