Does Herniated Disk In My Neck Lead To Headaches And Hearing Problems?
hello. I have been to a ENT doctor they did a ct scan and my sinuses and nose were perfect she said.. but the left side of my head feels all stuffed up and my hearing is like im in a well and then I get a bad head ache. Went back to my primary doctor and he said he just didn t know so he gave me a cortisome shot. sorry for the misspelling. and it will clear up for a bit and then pops and it clogged up again. I don t know if this would have anything to do with my problem but about a year ago .. I had went to see a doctor with my arm and went To PT. THEY did a mri and found that I have two herniated disk in my neck. could that be causing this. this has been going on since February.. I am very short of breath and just don t know what else to do
Hello, Thanks for posting in HCM. Herniated disc would not cause hearing reduction. They might cause headaches if there is spasm of neck muscles. Your symptoms are suggestive of Eustachian tube block. Kindly evaluate for the same with tympanometry. Decongestants and antibiotics maybe required if eustachian block is there. Thanks Dr Rao
